  <description>Sketcher in the Future Rock Sydney Semi Final &lt;br /&gt;Body: YEW!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sketcher, who enter a sydney band competition a few weeks ago played in the second heat today...along side Revoke and a few other bands from other sydney areas....&lt;br /&gt;Sketcher opened the competetion with their songs &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-Small View( Paper Angels ): a song with a killer accoustic opening melody which is accomanied by sum great beat boxing and kazoo playing by the bands rythmic guitarist (tom) followed by a kick ass punk &quot;throw yourself around the stage&quot; chorus and lead out..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-Battle Scars: Sketchers punk anthem..... this song went off and the boys got the hole crowd including the judges into it.&lt;br /&gt;They finished with an all time favourite of there..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-Last Chance: this song was a great little number to close the set with... it rocked the crowd and impressed the judges...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This show was made even more fantastic by the fact that it was Tom&apos;s (rythmic guitarist) first show with sketcher....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As Sketchers Manager id like to thank all the Live Journal nerds ( yes i saw you all out there) for coming to the show and supporting sketcher is their first and undoubtable not their last public performance.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sketcher made it through to the Future Rock Sydney Semi Finals which are held on the 24th September and 1st of October.... which Semi Final they will be entered in is not certain as of yet but it looks like the 24th October will be it....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once again id like to invite everyone to come and support this kick ass shire traditional punk band.. at the semi final....the more we have their the better it is for them......&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If sketcher make it through to the grand final it will be held in the Melbourne Hard Rock Cafe on the 15th on October and they play for the chance to will a free recording session at SONY BMG studios and they also get 1000 free copied of their recordings.....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We love to see you at the Semi&apos;s guys......&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;121 Crown Street City&lt;br /&gt;(10 minute walk from Kings Cross station) &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Check ya&apos;s later &lt;br /&gt;Gav-Monolith 101 Productions</description>

  <description>First Entry.........&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For Those of you who bother to read this stuff i wanna let yous all know of my upcoming shows....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Show One: Sketcher&lt;br /&gt;Date: 20th August &lt;br /&gt;Cost: Nil&lt;br /&gt;Venue: Hard Rock Cafe ( 121 crown street, city)&lt;br /&gt;Time:2pm sharp&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The boys from sketcher have been selected from 600 entries to play in a Battle of the bands type competition they wil be playing in Heat 2 of the competition along side Revoke for those of you who know them as well as some band who apparantly sound like Korn....as you probably have noticed my input on this comp is very sketchy as they actually set it up before i started managing them... but turn up n e way and show your support for Shire acts...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Show two: DronePilot&lt;br /&gt;Date: November 4th&lt;br /&gt;Cost $10 at the door&lt;br /&gt;Venue: Jannali Community Hall&lt;br /&gt;Time 6pm-10pm&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ive been working on this one for a while now..... its all been finalised.... the set list is Vulture, DronePilot, Revoke and Unbeliever ( line up may be subject to change, details will be given at further notice) &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hope to see you there....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Peace out</description>
